What's Going on at the Legion this Summer?


Think Local when planning your summer events. The Legion has lots of events planned for the summer.

Join us Saturday, July 1, from 1 - 4 as we celebrate our 75th year as a Royal Canadian Legion! Good weather or bad, we are hosting a BBQ, cake, games and social gathering . We have come a long way from our small hall in the old Toledo School to our newly renovated facility and we want to show it off.

That Hypnotist Guy will have you under his spell Saturday, July 29. As of this writing, tickets are still available. You can enjoy dinner & the show or just the show. Check out the poster on our home page or Facebook for details.

August 9, we will be hosting Rise at the Falls Car Club's Show and Shine. The event kicks off at 9:00 am. There will be food, beer garden, entertainment and door prizes. Spectators can enjoy the day for free! To show off your vehicle, registration is $10.

Our very popular Fun Golf Day will be held at Cedar Valley Golf Course, in Forthton, on Saturday, August 19th. We will begin the day at the golf course for breakfast starting at 9:00 am and finish with dinner back at the Legion. Check out our poster on the home page and Facebook.

Along with these events, will be will hosting some legion sports events, weddings and parties. Washer Toss will continue on Wednesday afternoons, at 1:00 pm. You don't need to be a member to play and costs only $5.00 per week.
